Motif #1 at Rockport, MA

Rockport, Massachusetts is our absolute favorite New England coastal town. This is the iconic view of Motif #1, a replica of “the most often-painted building in America.” Built in 1840, the original weathered red fishing shack on Bradley Wharf was destroyed in the blizzard of 1978. The exact replica was constructed that same year.
