Autumn Mountain

The coming of Autumn at Dolly Sods brings wild blueberry and huckleberry bushes alive with color, becoming more vibrant when backlit by the beautiful pallet of sunset. The Dolly Sods Wilderness is located in the Allegheny Mountains of eastern West Virginia and is part of the Monongahela National Forest. It is known for expanses of sphagnum bog, heath shrubs and stunted red spruce.
