Known for its open expanses of sphagnum bog, heath shrubs and stunted red spruce, Bear Rocks Preserve creates impressions of areas much farther north than its location in eastern West Virginia. Fall is especially colorful with blueberry bushes, cranberries and huckleberries showing their glowing beauty.
