South Branch of the Potomac

Well known for its fishing, this part of the South Branch of the Potomac River lies within the Smoke Hole Canyon in Grant County, West Virginia. The river offers excellent fishing for smallmouth bass, some largemouth bass, trout (rainbow, brook, brown and golden rainbow), channel catfish, eels and carp.
