The Mountains Beyond

As you stand on Bear Rocks and take in the scenes of the vast fields strewn with rock, hearty laurel and berry bushes, swaying pines, and mountains rising in the distance. The sun beckons you to follow as it dips below the horizon inviting you to see the what wonders lie beyond. The Dolly Sods Wilderness is located in the Allegheny Mountains of eastern West Virginia and is part of the Monongahela National Forest.
