West Virginia Photography - The River Guide

The River Guide
On a beautiful October day, we came across this unusually placed rock cairn in the middle of a remote area of the Cheat River in West Virginia. The builders would have had to wade into the cold mountain stream and select rocks from its bed to mark their trail. It made an interesting foreground view for our photo of this popular fly fishing river during that colorful fall afternoon.
