Winter on Shays Run

During a blizzard, Shays Run was freezing just above the first cascade of Elkala Falls outside of Davis, WV. On this handicap accessible trail beside the Blackwater Falls State Park Lodge, the stream drops steeply over several cascades just below this peaceful spot to the Blackwater Canyon and its raging waters.
